The Mountain Justice Network is an autonomous coalition of student and community groups working to end Mountain Top Removal coal-mining. We stand in solidarity with the residents of the coalfields and support them in their struggle.

Points of Unity:
1) MJ promotes sustainable, alternative sources of jobs, energy and economic opportunity.
2) MJ will always make a persistant effort to increase the awareness and education of ourselves and our communities concerning MTR.
3) MJ targets the corporations that ravage the coalfields, and not the miners themselves.
4) All actions comitted in the name of Mountain Justice will be non-violent, and non-sabotage.
5) MJ advocates non-heirarchical, consensus based, organizing.
